This Week Was Extra Fast
We decided to start being super obedient to the mission rules, even the stupid ones. The cliche saying, that I still don't like goes, "obedience brings blessing but exact obedience brings miracles," and honesty I can already say it's true. We've been desperately needing new people to meet with, and the DAY we go all in, we accidentally meet this awesome family. We were putting pass-along cards in this apartment complex and this lady waves to me across the parking lot. Eventually we go over there and start talking to her. She's super friendly and cracked out like literally on something, but a really nice lady. She loves missionaries and the gospel but hasn't invited us in. We met her son and his emo gf [girlfriend] and shared a message. We're going to go back. Juan and her son seemed really into it. He actually took our card a couple days before and kept it in his wallet. (We did half the apt then ran out of cards, came back later in the week and that’s when this happened.)
I think that's it y’all!
We got haircuts. The barber had two Boston Terriers in his shop
Oh yeah I was sleeping on the floor by the space heater and I accidentally
kicked it in my sleep. It fell over and hit me in the face right on my eye so I
have a cool cut on my eyelid
Next week is the end of the transfer. Crazy. Only 13 of them left. AND I've
been in the field for over a month which is wild. It's already flying by. It's
fun out here, okay bye
